The World of THOT-J-BAP: Book TWO, Bramah’s Quest

Consortium: An integrated global economic and administrative empire, covering most of the known world and controlling all aspects of industry, agriculture, and food production. In this book, accelerated climate change disrupts the supply lines crucial to Consortium’s hold on the world and its power weakens.

Cities: These include the Great Cities of Transaction: Paris, Baghdad and Ahmedabad. 

Perimeter: Cities and settlements fortified and controlled by Consortium. Rentalsman is an agency of Perimeter.

Towers and Gates: This is where the guards and agents of Consortium control who can enter and exit Perimeter. 

Portal Gates to the Four Seasons: These are found in different locations outside Perimeter. Although the portals are controlled by Consortium, if you happen to know the right spells, as Bramah does, the portals can act as departure points for time travel. In Bramah’s Quest, the Four Seasons are ravaged by accelerated climate change, decaying into brutal cold dry, hot dry, and the Wet.

Pacifica: A region extending from the western, ocean side, of a continent once known as America.
