A Note to the Reader
Thank you for entering the world of THOT J BAP. I thought you might like to know a little bit more about this world and the goings on inside of it.
If you’ve read Book One of this epic series, you’ll know that New Year’s Eve holds a special place in my creative practice. It’s the ultimate Portal Threshold! Scenes and poetry seem to spill forth, and so it was New Year’s Eve, 2021, leading into 2022, at the start of the Omicron explosion. The work continued through all the dire happenings of war, invasion, protests, drought, floods and now, in September, a personal catastrophe for my own family. Through it all, I’ve been here, working on this book.
I hope you’ll think of THOTJBAP and its characters as I do, true friends to whom you can return. May we all know better, brighter times; may books and story endure.
